With WrestleMania XXVI now in the rearview mirror—and WWE having done the right thing by preserving “the streak”—it seems like a good time to consider who Vince McMahon might select to finally pin The Undertaker at Mania. We’re going full-service here, breaking down every active member of the WWE roster —and even some who aren’t—into levels. I already laid out a scenario I really liked in my previous column, but I have to consider that a long shot—so we’re going more conventional here. Now, without further ado, let’s speculate wildly! Level One: No Chance in Hell Carlito, Chavo ...

WrestleMania 26 Preview: Destruction in the Desert

Posted by Ron Johnson On March - 31 - 2010
This is a late entry from Sunday. Due to YouTube's attempts to prevent this from happening, it's going down now. So without further adieu, here's an addition from an old face from Bleacher Report. Enjoy. Click here to view.Read more Pro Wrestling news on BleacherReport.com
Dear Mr. McMahon, You are a smart businessman, as evidenced by the WWE and the millions of fans it has. There are few mistakes that have been made in your illustrious career running the WWE. However, one near constant failure is in the lack of proper use of your divas. While there are great highlights in the history of women's wrestling in the WWE, they are few and far between. Yes, many of us fans are old enough to remember watching Trish Stratus' meteoric rise, Lita's insane skills, Victoria's crazy drive, and Molly Holly's incredible wrestling abilities. The Attitude/Invasion Era was ...

The Streak Lives: The Unbelievable Winning Streak of the Undertaker

Posted by Anakin Cane On March - 31 - 2010
The Undertaker retired a legend and in the process raised the streak to 18-0. The streak started in 1991 and who would have ever thought the Deadman would have the immortal streak. When the Undertaker first made his debut, people did not know what to make of this giant of a man. Many fans knew him as Mark Callous from the WCW. No one could have predicted the man defeated by Lex Luger in less than six minutes at the Bash in 1990 would go on to have one of the greatest streaks and greatest careers in pro wrestling history. ...

Brand-Changing SmackDown Spoiler: You Won’t Believe This

Posted by Joe Burgett On March - 31 - 2010
For those of you who don't read the rumor mill, you probably don't read SPOILERS. Also, some like myself tend to read the rumor mill, but pay no attention to SPOILERS. However, I managed to come across this one from the SmackDown taping last night. I just had time to write my opinions on it, so obviously I'm not the first to write on it. In any case, I felt my opinion should be shared. You've be warned as far as SPOILERS go. Jack Swagger cashed in his "Money in the Bank" briefcase on Chris Jericho to win the World Heavyweight ...

What In The Hell Is Going On With Women’s Wrestling?

Posted by lee raydean On March - 31 - 2010
What in blue blazes is going on with the WWE women's wrestling? Their matches last three to five minutes. Its like they no sooner get in the ring and they do a few slaps, kicks, pull out some hair and off they go. To be honest with you, the divas may be hot, but, as of late, their ring time is zilch. What I mean is that the matches are over too quick. Ever since Vickie came back, and became the official consultant to Teddy Long, things haven't been the same. First she was hell bent on getting Mickie James out of wrestling along ...

The Weekly Top Ten: WWE’s Greatest Ladder Matches of All-Time

Posted by The Phantom On March - 31 - 2010
It is another week and it is time for another weekly Top 10 list. This week will feature the greatest ladder matches in the WWE. Any match that involved the use of ladders as part of the stipulation are up for consideration for being on the list. TLC matches are not included. With any list, questions will form about why a person made the list and why another person did not. If you have any questions or feel I might have left some one out let me know in the comment section. If enough people agree with you it might be ...
TNA recently moved to Monday nights in order to compete directly with the WWE, and now it's clear that this may have been a mistake. Since their January 4th Monday night broadcast, and each Monday that followed, TNA has seen a steady drop in their ratings.  This could be due to many people who watched both companies preferring WWE when forced to choose, and it could be that TNA has lost what set them apart from WWE in the first place. I have been a supporter of TNA for a long time. I always felt they brought something different to the ...
Wrestlemania 26 is in the books, and some people are saying it has been the best Mania in recent years. The biggest story to come out of the past week is the retirement of Shawn Michaels.  Shawn lost his career versus streak match at Wrestlemania 26 against the Undertaker, forcing him to retire. Shawn's real reasons for leaving the ring are his family back home, and his physical limitations.  Shawn is still a top-tier performer, but he himself has said he is nowhere near where he was before his back injury. Shawn gave a heartfelt speech Monday, leaving many fans in tears.  ...
