Victoria To Meet With WWE Officials

Posted by The T.I. Fan On May - 31 - 2010
What's up Bleaches? ''No time to waste, so let''s bleach it!'' Lisa Varon (a.k.a Tara; formerly known as Victoria in WWE) has parted ways with Total Nonstop Action wrestling after refusing to re-sign with the company due to not receiving a pay increase. Victoria's had her last match against the current TNA Knockout's Champion, Madison Rayne, during the company's fifth pay-per-view of the year, TNA Sacrifice. Victoria had put her career on the line for Rayne's title, but failed in her attempt to capture the title, ending her wrestling career in TNA. According to the SEScoops.com, it is reported that Lisa is ...
Ups and downs, downs and ups, no, I'm not talking about a roller coaster. No, see I'm talking about professional wrestling. Today, it seems to be all the rage to discuss the WWE's PG era and how it doesn't compare to the WWE's TV-14 era. Many want to see another Attitude Era, but is it seriously the best thing for the WWE? I'd say heck no. And why is that you ask? Well it's simple, look at all the money they currently make through this era known as the "WWE PG Era." For every one person it equals out to one ticket, for every ...

Hulkamania Over Hated Underrated

Posted by jason hamilton On May - 31 - 2010
A while back i wrote an article about the most underrated matches in pro wrestling history. One of them was hulk hogan vs Stan Hansen in japan. Hulk hogan has great wrestling skill I'm serious he has the skills. In 1984 he wrestled Antonio Inoki in japan. he showed technical prowess matched by few. Now you may say "then  how come he used very few moves in the wwf'" people don't want to see technical wrestling fans want to see the flamboyant charismatic superhuman known as Hulk Hogan. They want to see there favorite ...

Who’s The Next African American Star Of The WWE?

Posted by iqbal siraj On May - 31 - 2010
Ok, we've heard the WWE is trying its best to push African American stars of the company, with the hope of reaching out to black people around the world. We know how hard it is for the company to push someone that is not white, unless you want to count the "Wigger" John Cena (pre-army days/pre-emotional crying/suck up days.) I believe The Great Khali was the last non-white to win a World Championship in WWE, and even his reign was terrible. Lets look at the candidates who could potentially become the next African American star in the WWE. (1=Bad Choice 5=Best Choice)   Shelton Benjamin ...

Real Life Heels: Simon Cowell

Posted by Big Nasty On May - 31 - 2010
Do you hate this man? British music executive turned hard edged judge, Simon Cowell, recently made his final appearance with American Idol , a show that has become a phenomenon in and of itself, after nine years with the program.  In 2002, during the show's infancy, Cowell was marketed as a true heel.  He quickly developed a reputation as a brutally honest, and at times evil critic who crushed the hopes and dreams of aspiring artists at the drop of a hat. Simon often wore black, hardly laughed, and his only smiles often carried a sinister and patronizing context to them.  America had been introduced to a heel sensation.  However over ...

Undertaker Injured! What Will Happen With Smackdown’s Fatal Four Way?

Posted by Johnathon Gustin On May - 31 - 2010
I'll get right to the point, The Undertaker was injured in his Fatal Four qualifying match with Rey Mysterio. He suffered a broken nose, a broken orbital bone, and a concussion. This explains why there were so many botches during his match with Rey Mysterio, most believed it was just ring rust.  This is a huge blow to Smackdown as their roster has been decimated of star power after the annual WWE draft put the majority of the WWE headliners on RAW. Also this is a setback for ratings as well. For weeks they have been advertising the return of ...

Should Hulk Hogan And Ric Flair Ever Wrestle Again?

Posted by Siva Prasad On May - 31 - 2010
Ric Flair revealed earlier this week in an interview with BANG Showbiz that Hulk Hogan 's health issues at this point in time are "overwhelming" , but did mention Hogan could still return to the ring. As for himself, Flair emphatically said he would "never retire again" in an interview with Digital Spy. In the former interview, Flair said: "His heart is in the ring but he has health issues and at this point in time they are overwhelming. His back has been really bad. He's got an artificial knee, an artificial hip, which don't bother him at all. But his back is ...

The 5 Real Reason’s why WWE “PG” sucks.

Posted by Nathan Winters On May - 31 - 2010
I use the term "PG" sarcastically some what. I'm not one of these people who simply believe that by toning down the WWE product's content—it alone is the sole reason why the WWE is experiencing an apparent "slump." Smackdown has always been a "PG" program. The 1980's and early 1990's—the same. The last 11 years of Smackdown have been highly successful in establishing the WWE as the dominant international brand it continues to be today. While the 1980's and early 1990's gave birth and nurtured everything we take for granted. Some what credited as the "Golden Era"—yet PG rated. While ...

Make Wrestling Real Again

Posted by Cec Van Galini On May - 31 - 2010
Until fans get to a certain age, wrestling is real. Sweet Chin music knocks you out, the RKO does the same, and the tombstone, well it certainly puts you down for a three count. The first moment I recall of this reality was the mauling of Ahmed Johnson by Faarooq (Ron Simmons) and the Nation of Domination. Then came Stone Cold's legendary match with Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 13 which I am sure made many fans point at the screen in disbelief. In essence, we watch what is happening and believe it to be real. Maybe its because we get older ...

The PG Kid VS The Attitude Kid

Posted by Sumz On May - 31 - 2010
Before people read any further I wish to state that this article is not a Cena bashing, nor is it a PG bashing article, but hey what's the difference? However this article will try and distinguish the two formats of wrestling and come to terms with what makes the product so successful. We will first look at the Attitude Kid.   Attitude Kid Facts about the 90’s 1.  The Rock, Austin, HBK, Hart, Mankind, DX, NWO and HHH were running the product during the attitude era. 2.  The WWE had just about every gimmick in the book ...
