Why the WWE Is a Lot Like Junior High

Posted by Micah Chen On April - 27 - 2010
WWE and school. One would think the two would never meet. But dig deeper, and you realize that the WWE is nothing more than a oversized school except they solving everything with violence. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Here I am going to explain the surprising connections between a one of the largest companies in the word in the WWE, and a Junior High...Begin Slideshow

2010 WWE Diva Draft Results and Analysis

Posted by Christi Lott On April - 27 - 2010
Well, the 2010 WWE Draft is over. For me, it was a bit of a letdown overall, especially with the fact that not all the matches on the show were for draft picks, nor were they spread out over the entire show so we'd get a big shock at the end like we usually do. All in all, everyone that switched wasn't a shock. For now, lets take a look at the WWE Divas and who moved.   Kelly Kelly to Smackdown I have to say I wasn't expecting this move. She's a very popular face, and with Melina out and Eve not getting ...

Joe’s 411: The 2010 WWE Draft Winners and Big Time Losers!

Posted by Joe Burgett On April - 27 - 2010
Wrestling fans saw a very surprising WWE Draft last night on WWE's now official flagship show, WWE RAW. I found the draft stupid because it made one show very top heavy and left the other basically looking like a crack whore at a Christian revival. But don't take my word for it, judge for yourself. I'm about to give you both the WWE Draft results you saw Monday Night and today's supplemental draft results. * Chavo Guerrero: From RAW to SmackDown!* Cody Rhodes: From RAW to SmackDown!* Natalya: From SmackDown! to RAW* Chris Masters: From RAW to SmackDown!* Ezekiel Jackson: From SmackDown! to RAW* ...

2010 WWE Draft Wrap: The Future Is Now

Posted by Josh Brewer On April - 27 - 2010
The latest version of WWE's annual draft isn't even 24 hours old, but the ramifications are already being felt. The message Vince McMahon sent last night was loud and clear: The future of the WWE begins Friday night. The top healthy and established Smackdown superstars, Edge and Chris Jericho, were sent to Raw. Rey Mysterio has about two more years left before he retires and the clock is always inching closer to midnight on the historic career of The Undertaker. Friday night's top heel? CM Punk, newer to the main-event scene than Edge, Jericho, Mysterio, and Taker. Smackdown's top face? After Mysterio and ...

WWE Draft Aftermath, Part One

Posted by Gabe Mambo On April - 27 - 2010
Last night, World Wrestling Entertainment held their seventh company wide draft (Eighth overall if you include the small ECW draft that Paul Heyman conducted in 2006). Eight total superstars from Smackdown and Raw were selected to go to the opposite brand, potentially changing their careers. The moves themselves may prove to be a huge change of direction for respective brands. After the night was done, many people were left with questions about the superstars selected. Some wondered why the promotion's draft failed to be as ground breaking as past ones. More are wondering what these picks will mean for Raw and Smackdown. Will Smackdown ...

Tuesdays at TNA: Tag Team Turmoil?

Posted by John Reid On April - 27 - 2010
While wondering where Samoa Joe keeps that machete.... Welcome to Tuesdays at TNA, where we analyze all things going down in Orlando. Is it just me, or has the tag team ranks, once one of TNA's strongest staples, has truly fallen by the wayside?  I remember back in 2006 when the feud between Christopher Daniels-AJ Styles vs. the Latin American Exchange over the tag team titles was the hottest storyline going in wrestling.  These four put on five-star quality matches all summer long and brought back memories of the days in the NWA when the Rock N' Roll Express fought the Midnight Express over ...

WWE Supplemental Draft Results

Posted by On April - 27 - 2010
The WWE supplemental draft for 2010 took place on WWE.com moments ago. Here are the results The Great Khali has been drafted to Raw. This makes no difference. He appears only once in awhile and it's only when the WWE wants to use him to either bury or put over someone. Chavo Guerrero has been drafted to Smackdown. Here's hoping the Mexican Warrior gets the push he deserves under the direction of head writer Michael Hayes. Cody Rhodes has been drafted to Smackdown. This comes as no surprise after the demise of Legacy. It makes sense to keep him separate from Dibiase. I ...

WWE Draft 2010: My Critical Analysis & What’s Next For The WWE Draftees

Posted by Iam D Real Deal yo On April - 27 - 2010
Hey guys, I am back. First of all, I just want to say that I am glad to write another article again, even though I said that I will be taking so time off. Secondly, I got a great burning topic to write on and that is the WWE Draft, which took place last night. Here are the results in case you missed it: The Big Show, Kelly Kelly, Christian and Kofi Kingston got drafted to SD while, John Morrison, R-Truth, Edge and Chris Jericho got drafted to RAW. Now, frankly speaking, I have had mixed feelings about the draft. It is kind of a "lopsided" ...
Last night on Raw, Batista showed a side we haven't seen from him in awhile.  He was angry, to say the least, about his loss to Cena the night before. His attitude in recent months since his heel turn has been a little stale, acting as if he knew he was going to dominate, so why even try? Last night was different. He came out and immediately began screaming about his loss.  He turned red and had veins popping everywhere.  It was great! Then Orton and Sheamus each came out to say they were the number one contender. Batista simply laughed and yelled, "I'M THE ...
Last night on Raw's annual draft show Edge was drafted to Raw and he made a big impact right off the bat by spearing his one time partner in Rated RKO Randy Orton, causing Batista to win the number one contendership. This feud is interesting because both men are known for their full steam ahead heel personas. It will be refreshing to see them go at it as baby faces. Edge and Orton have fought in the past, but this looks like the beginning of a real feud with some lasting power. Edge is still fresh off his return from an injury ...
