Smackdown’s Move To Syfy! 8 Possible SyFy Spin-Off Shows.

Posted by John Kindelan On September - 29 - 2010
Smackdown makes the move to Syfy this coming Friday, Oct. 1. Should be a great event, Rey Mysterio makes his return, Nexus and John Cena will be showing up, and with all the work they're putting into the promos, I really hope that the actual show is just as great as the commercials. Last week on Smackdown we saw the weary Undertaker re-energized by the magic of The Urn with Paul Berrer. This arises a couple of questions, who is in the urn? Anyone else thinking that the urn contains mommy? The Undertaker is once again a 'magical' being; will this bring ...

WWE’s Most Overrated Dead Man: I Don’t Think You Can Handle It

Posted by Jamie Leondaris On September - 29 - 2010
The Undertaker. “This is my yard”, and “Rest in piece”, that guy. The one with the eyes that roll back, and also he sticks out his tongue much like in the way of Gene Simmons. Black hair and red eyebrows. Does a homoerotic taunt over his victims after winning a match. Him. This one is going to give me some heat. I don’t like it when I an article, of which I am reading, about a superstar it opens with his biography, it’s a page filler essentially. I usually skip by it and get to the point. I think I’ll do that ...

WWE NXT: Going Off Of Television, Say It Ain’t So!!!

Posted by Dylan The Broz Brozyna On September - 29 - 2010
Hello there, Bleacher Report. I’m here with some grave and shocking news. I’m sure no one saw this coming and all will be dismayed when I say that WWE NXT season three (rhymes) is going off of television to be shown on wwe.com. Did anyone expect this to happen?! I hope we all recognize a good bit of sarcasm. But I also have a serious question for you all…Will anyone miss it? Now, we’ve known for weeks that Syfy was not scheduled to air any more episodes of NXT after October 1st, but for a while I was under the ...

WWE’s Roster Doesn’t Need to Merge: It Would Kill WWE

Posted by Jamie Leondaris On September - 29 - 2010
Okay Alice, you saw that rabbit right, the one that ran down the hole? Go ahead; chase it. Now you're falling between clocks and scary things. Where are you now? Wonderland.  What do you see? To the left, it’s two separate WWE shows with four championship titles, the champions are able to go to either show and defend their title. To the right, one massive brand, four titles. What’s wrong here?  Let’s focus our attention to the left for now, two shows and unified champions. Let’s say, for arguments sake, we have ourselves: World Champion, Mid-Card Champion, Tag Team Champions, and a ...

Matt Hardy: Enough Is Enough Already

Posted by matthew offermann On September - 29 - 2010
Ok Matt Hardy has been in the news a lot lately. To be honest, I have lost track of all he is complaining about. He hasn't had much of a push in quite a while now. It seems to me that this is becoming a type of Paris Hilton act where he just wants to be in the news now. Whatever Matt or Matthew Hardy decides to do he needs to do it now because it looks like he is not only losing fans, but interest from the WWE. So sorry if you were expecting a full out article, this thing is ...

WWE Raw Takes A Big Hit In The Ratings

Posted by Jesus Rocha On September - 28 - 2010
Bad news for the WWE this week. The Raw rating came out and it is not a good sign. Raw earned a 2.37 rating this week, the lowest since October 27, 1997. I bet that Vince McMahon right now is going crazy and trying to come up with brilliant ideas. Do I smell a John Cena heel turn or John Cena winning the WWE title? I don't blame people since there was a huge Football game on this past Monday. Also, Raw was taped last week. I am pretty sure it was because of both things. Last week's Raw rating was a 2.8 and ...
WWE Universe, the winds of change are upon us.  No, I’m not referring to Nexus and their threats against John Cena.  From where I stand, Cena has a much bigger threat to worry about.  WWE has found their new anti-hero babyface, and the fans are responding with enthusiastic cheers and overwhelming support.  “The Viper” is on his way to  becoming the top guy in the company, and John Cena has every right to be a nervous wreck.  We’re witnessing the dawn of a new era, similar to what occurred immediately following WrestleMania 13.  Randy Orton reminds many  fans of a ...

The Last Ride: The Final Months of the Legendary Career of The Undertaker

Posted by Josh Brewer On September - 28 - 2010
Just a month before I turned six years old, I sat in front of the TV after Thanksgiving dinner and watched the 1990 Survivor Series. In the second match of the night, the Million Dollar team of Ted DiBiase, Greg Valentine, and The Honky Tonk Man were in the ring as DiBiase, the team captain, introduced the team's mystery partner.More than 20 years later, on April 3, 2011, it appears I will watch as the man I saw debut that night in 1990, The Undertaker, hangs up his wrestling boots for good.Recent Internet reports have WrestleMania XXVII slated as the final ...

Chris Jericho: “Man of 1,004 Holds” Is Greatness Personified!

Posted by Dylan Thomas On September - 28 - 2010
On Monday night's Raw, we saw Jericho’s demise in WWE for the time being. I do hope he is back by WrestleMania, hopefully in a white-hot feud with Orton for the title. But anyway, we saw him list the people that he has beaten in his career, ranging from Japan, TNA, and WCW to the WWE in a parody of his "1,004 holds" promo. His list of competitors includes Michaels, Austin, Rock, Hunter, Eddie, Rey, JBL, Big Show, Edge, Taker (twice), MVP, C.M Punk, Vader I and II, Villano I-V, Juventud Guerrera, Mendoza, Great Muta, Chono, Funaki, Fuyuki, Yoshi Tatsu, Saturn, ...

WWE Raw: Hits & Misses, Comments and Analysis from Monday’s Show!

Posted by Dylan Thomas On September - 28 - 2010
John Cena & Edge Match—Hit It was good to see these old rivals go at it on Raw, they provided an entertaining match with a surprise pinfall on Cena. Albeit it was reversed and Cena got the final victory in the match but it was good to see on a taped edition of Raw. Although the one problem I had here was the camera angle used to see the live pin it was so obvious that Cena’s foot was under the rope.  Please check out my Jericho 1,004 holds article special http://bleacherreport.com/articles/476217-chris-jericho-ldquoman-of-1004-holdsrdquo-greatness-personified Randy Orton/Jericho Match—Hit It main evented Raw this week and it deserved ...
