WWE: Luke’s Money in the Bank 2011 Predictions

Posted by Luke Adamson On July - 16 - 2011
Coming off of four of the most compelling and invigorating weeks of WWE television in ages, this year's Money In The Bank pay-per-view is set to be one of the most important events the WWE have ever produced. Capitol Punishment was the first PPV in a long time that I have not previewed for this site, the reason being that I simply was not interested enough to put the time and effort into doing so.However, the event itself wasn't bad in the end, but it wasn't good either. Hence, I give it a 6/10 rating. But this upcoming PPV is probably the ...
When CM Punk sat on the stage and started his rant three weeks ago at the end of Monday Night Raw, everyone got a shock.Punk said a lot of things that no one thought would ever be said on WWE TV.Most were things the IWC have been saying for awhile now, but that’s beside the point.Punk had people talking about the WWE. Then they had to force John Cena into the situation. Did anyone really want Cena to come out and interrupt Punk last week on Raw?I know I would have much rather have heard Punk go on. Then Cena ...
CM Punk is arguably the hottest commodity in wrestling right now. His stock has never been higher, and going into this weekend’s pay per view, there are endless debates raging as to what will happen next.Perhaps a dream match is in Punk’s future? It’s no secret that there has been heat between CM Punk and Stone Cold Steve Austin in recent months, leading many fans to speculate if a future confrontation is in the works for both Superstars.Granted, the heat is most likely manufactured, as is often the case in the business, but it does raise an interesting scenario. The Straight ...

Jay Lethal and 7 ROH/TNA Wrestlers the WWE Would Be Smart to Sign

Posted by Marley Cardona On July - 16 - 2011
Hello, and yes to the chagrin of much of you, I am writing a second article. But fear not, this time I hope to write a more well thought out and reasonable article, that will hopefully not piss you off.I wont be taking shots at legends, nor will I (I'll try not to anyway) be vague with my reasoning. So here we go, six guys I believe could contribute something worthwhile to WWE programming. With iMPACT Wrestlings recent campaign to show that "Wrestling Matters," it seems as if the WWE has taken notice, putting on better, albeit only a few ...

WWE Money in the Bank Predictions

Posted by Ramblin Man On July - 16 - 2011
There has been a great deal of hype leading up to the WWE's Money In The Bank Pay-Per View, usually it's because of the thrilling ladder matches that lead to two new future number one contenders for the belts. However, this year it's because of C.M. Punk and his final match in the WWE. Since this Pay-Per View has gotten a lot more publicity from various outside sources such as ESPN, I decided to write my own predictions. Thanks for taking the time to read, guys, enjoy.Begin Slideshow
NXT Season One started with "rookies" looking to make an impact. They were paired up with pros from Day One that mirrored their potential.Everyone had a pro that wasn't completely a star yet, well everyone except for Wade Barrett that is.Wade Barrett had the World Heavyweight champion at the time as his pro in Chris Jericho.Relatively unknown to most of the fans, Barrett had to make a quick impact because with Jericho as his pro, he is supposed to be a big deal. A future star in the making if you will. But for the first few weeks, he seemed (at ...

WWE: Is Smackdown Beating RAW at Its Own Wrestling Game?

Posted by David Levin On July - 16 - 2011
Take away everything you heard over the last month with CM Punk and Vince McMahon. Take away the “Angry Black Man” shtick of R-Truth and look at the bigger picture of things. Based on performance in the ring, can you honestly say RAW is a better product than SmackDown? The CM Punk angle is compelling and speaks to people on so many levels about right to free speech, getting what is fair in the job place and of course, the ability to stick it to your boss and humiliate him in the best way you can. It is all fine ...
Welcome to Part 2 of the best stupid, yet funny moments. For those who didn't see the last part (click on the link to view it), it's basically a list of moments that are really stupid, but the stupidity of it makes it funny. There may be another part after this, but I need requests as I'm running out of them. And I may even hold a vote for the funniest of the 30 (probably not). And like the last part, when I say "stupid," I mean that in the nicest possible way.Begin Slideshow
Big Nasty will be keeping a running diary of what appear to be CM Punk's final days in WWE (for now).  Reports of Punk's reticence to sign a contract extension seem to point to the fact that he is gearing up to leave the company. CM Punk's home stretch run in the WWE has afforded him another comfortably active week in the headlines, But not all Punk-related news has been positive.  Punk's much anticipated follow up with John Cena and Vince McMahon drew a disappointing 2.9 rating.  The alarmingly low rating can seemingly be explained away due to the fact that ...
According to Kevin Eck's wrestling blog Ring Posts, CM Punk sat down with GQ magazine to discuss his current situation and future plans. This interview was conducted recently as Eck reported, "CM Punk pulled no punches in a fascinating interview with GQ that was conducted this past Tuesday."If Punk answered honestly, then this whole storyline is based on more reality than we know.  Punk was asked several questions, from how real his possible WWE departure is, to his recent apology for homophobic slurs. In response to how real the current storyline is Punk responded:“How much is real? That's 100 percent real. That's ...
