I have been deep in thought over the WWE product for some time now.I hate to say that I've been missing enough episodes of SmackDown and Raw to be close to being out of the loop of the storylines occurring.I'm perplexed over the fact that the crowds at the WWE events are bipolar to the point of being stone-cold silent to sporadic cheering. The source of why I'm frequently missing more of my WWE programming can be found in the content of John Cena's tweet:  Yawn..stop looking at this bizz in black and white. I am not a 'heel' or a ...

WWE Rumors: Jericho and Mick Foley with WWE in November?!?!

Posted by Justin Watry On August - 20 - 2011
The title may be a bit misleading, but I recently read a story that could point in that direction. If you ask me, it is a dead lock Foley will be back with WWE soon. I believe his TNA contract runs out in the next few weeks, and thank god, he can return"home! When reading this report, it almost seems too obvious. Foley has announced a Stand Up Comedy Show in the UK, the exact same dates that WWE will be on their annual UK Tour come November. Really Mick? Really? You couldn't at least try to hide it...come on! ...

Christian’s Top 5 WWE Title Wins in His Career

Posted by Justin Watry On August - 20 - 2011
My last two countdowns focused on Mark Henry and Randy Orton. Those two men will be Smackdown's main event picture for the time being, and I love it.Of course, that leaves Christian out in the cold. Well, not for much longer! Today, I am going to countdown his top title wins in WWE.Few things to remember:1. TNA does not count, and I will ignore his time there.2. His tag team title runs do not count—this is about his singles' career.Begin Slideshow
This guy is someone that has been really counterproductive for WWE. He is the WWE champion right now and he had a great match against Rey Mysterio. However, before all of those things he has been a laughsx at, boring and annoying character for the WWE. At first, his character was a refreshment and people were interested in what he was. It turned out he was another JBL. That was not a bad thing because JBL is one of the best superstars in WWE's history.JBL could talk all day and back up every word. When Alberto Del Rio kept talking, it produced nothing.Since Del Rio ...
Once upon a time, little baby Jeff Awesome was watching the United States Wrestling Association in a hospital bed in Memphis, Tennessee.I was literally born watching USWA action.  In the USWA, there were two men who stood out. As a baby, my dad told me about these two men.Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Lawler made me a wrestling fan at birth. Jeff Jarrett's father, Jerry, happened to be the owner of USWA. I evolved as a young wrestling fan in the 1990s. I grew up as a hardcore WCW fan. I didn't watch WWE because I was not allowed to watch it for ...

WWE Rumors: Goldberg Returning to Face Batista?

Posted by Justin Watry On August - 20 - 2011
That title just seems weird to me. However, if you read this link, something may be in the works. All of this would happen NOT in WWE, but for a different promotion overseas. I don't know about you, but I suspected Batista would be back in WWE sooner rather than later. Goldberg? I am not sure I ever really bought into the hype of him making a return to WWE. It just seems too unlikely to even "fantasy book." However, if all of this is true (or at least partially true), those attending the African Congo show could be in ...

WWE: Batista and 12 Other Stars I’d Like to See Return

Posted by Kyle Schadler On August - 20 - 2011
There have been reports going around that WWE wants to bring back some former superstars in an attempt to bring back the viewers they have lost over the years.  Kevin Nash seems to be the start of that.To a certain degree, I think that’s a great idea. WWE fans of the past will get excited to see their favorite superstar make a return, even if it’s for one final run. At the same time, though, bringing back former stars takes away from the current crop of young, talented superstars.WWE has a tendency to do that anyway so I guess it doesn’t really ...

WWE Fans: What’s So Must-See And Awesome About The Miz?

Posted by Ricky AKA The Joker On August - 20 - 2011
The Miz claims to be the most must-see champion in WWE History. His catchphrase is "I'm The Miz and I'm awesome."Really?I ask all of you, what's so must-see and awesome about him?He has above average mic skills, average in-ring skills, and a persona that's been done before. It's not like it's the first time we've seen someone act like a pompous, self-absorbed, villain.Guys like Chris Jericho, Edge, Triple H, Batista, and Jack Swagger have all done it before.Week after week, he'll talk about how awesome he is, up to the point where it's getting annoying, unappealing, and boring.Which is exactly why Raw ...

B/R Exclusive: Interview with Generation Me Aka the Young Bucks

Posted by Joe Burgett On August - 20 - 2011
While I was on "vacation" from B/R a few weeks back, I was able to grab an interview with the just released Max and Jeremy Buck of TNA, known as Generation Me. To the world, they are known as The Young Bucks. To my ever-growing surprise, these two have been in a heated war of words on twitter and a lot of it has to do with respect.Just to throw this out there, these two were very respectful to me and probably two of the coolest guys with no real ego at all. So, maybe some wrestlers are reading too ...

WWE: What Is the Most Important Trait for a Superstar?

Posted by Nate Scaccia On August - 20 - 2011
To become a successful WWE Superstar, an individual must possess a great wrestling ability, charisma, mic skills and have a good character. But what trait is the most important one in today's WWE?   Wrestling Ability Without the ability to wrestle and do it well, what is a WWE superstar? Sometimes it seems that the WWE shifts its focus from wrestling ability to other aspects but ability is still a factor to determine a successful superstar. Wrestling ability alone is not enough to make a superstar gain main event status. Daniel Bryan has arguably the best in ring ability in ...
