WWE usually slows down a little after WrestleMania since the buildup is always so stressful, but that has not been the case in 2015.WrestleMania 31 took place on March 29, which is almost two months ago to the day. In that time we have seen Extreme Rules, Payback, a King of the Ring special and NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable. On top of that, we still have the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view Sunday and Money in the Bank two weeks later. To say WWE has been busy lately is a huge understatement.During that time, many Superstars and Divas have stepped up to keep things running smoothly and deliver ...

Posted by Brad Jones On May - 30 - 2015
It's perhaps unsurprising that this week felt like a step down in terms of quality in-ring content. Ever since WrestleMania, WWE's momentum hasn't really faltered in this department—but the crushing schedule of the last couple of weeks has seemingly taken its toll on the roster. Let's just hope that the roster isn't depleted further as a record-breaking 18 participants step into the structure over the course of the evening.   Honourable Mentions The tag division continued to impress this week, with a match between the Lucha ...

Elimination Chamber is just days away after a short build, but it's shaping up to be a memorable card. WWE's first Intercontinental and Tag Team Championship matches at the event carry a lot of intrigue, especially the idea of a tag team Elimination Chamber. John Cena vs. Kevin Owens feels like the true main event, and it could go either way, but who will prevail? Who should prevail? An argument can be made that Kevin Owens is pound-for-pound the top heel in WWE and NXT. Owens has an array of ongoing feuds in his brief WWE/NXT career, many of which have ended with his opponent out of commission.Headed into the biggest match of his career against John Cena, Owens has effectively ruffled every feather in his wake.Owens appeared on the PodNasty Wrestling Podcast to talk about his sudden rise as he prepares to face John Cena at Elimination Chamber. His irreverent attitude and avant-garde, physical style embodies the spirit of NXT.Standing in a ring next to Cena's bodybuilder physique speaks volumes of ...
With the 2015 edition of WWE’s Elimination Chamber just a few days away, there are still many unanswered questions that wrestling fans are thinking about heading into the impromptu pay-per-view. Between Dean Ambrose filling the role as one of the top faces with Daniel Bryan on the sidelines and Kevin Owens being trusted to work a match against arguably the biggest star in wrestling over the last decade, there is still a level of uncertainty around the PPV. Here are the biggest unanswered questions heading into Elimination Chamber 2015.   Is Dean Ambrose the New Daniel Bryan? Before yet another injury, Daniel Bryan was one ...
When Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday, it will complete a remarkable journey to the main event for The Lunatic Fringe. As soon as Seth Rollins single-handedly broke up The Shield, it was obvious that The Authority would groom him to eventual glory. Roman Reigns was always in line for a push given how he performed so strongly at the likes of Survivor Series and Royal Rumble. But Ambrose? He looked to be in choppy waters when it came to his chances of becoming a main event start. Yet the WWE has played a shrewd ...
One of the biggest stars in wrestling right now is Roman Reigns, but after he announced his inclusion in the Money in the Bank match, there are questions about whether he will play a role in the 2015 edition of WWE Elimination Chamber. From acting as the special enforcer in the main event to having an impromptu match with Kane to possibly even costing Dean Ambrose the win against Seth Rollins by accident, there are plenty of options for the Superstar on Sunday. Here are the best booking options for Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2015.   The Main Event’s Special Enforcer There is no doubt ...
More men than ever before will pile into the Elimination Chamber on Sunday when the WWE Tag Team Championships are put on the line inside the chaotic structure. Defending champions The New Day may well be hot favorites to win and retain their titles, but there are strong cases for almost all of the teams competing to walk away with the belts. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd still retain a strong level of popularity despite a couple of damaging defeats, while there are new teams, recently reunited teams and a wide mix of talent all campaigning to emerge as the new tag champions. But ...

10 Potential Opponents for a Returning Batista in WWE

Posted by Graham GSM Matthews On May - 29 - 2015
Following a four-year absence, Batista returned to WWE in January 2014 in time for the road to WrestleMania. It was believed he'd be a big part of WWE's plans for the better part of the year as one of the promotion's top babyfaces and eventually its world heavyweight champion. Unfortunately, his comeback to the company wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Fans were initially excited to see Batista back, but mere weeks into his return they rejected him, feeling that Daniel Bryan was more deserving of the world championship opportunity. Despite winning the 2014 Royal Rumble match and punching his ...
