WWE: How a Cruiserweight Title Could Elevate Younger Superstars

When I was a growing up in the 1990’s, my favorite wrestling program was WCW Monday Nitro. I loved the excitement of seeing main eventers like Sting, Macho Man, Ric Flair, and Hulk Hogan. However, one of the most exciting parts of the program was the undercard. At that time World Championship Wrestling was showcasing cruiserweight talent like Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Dean Malenko, Prince Iaukea, Eddie Guerrero, and Billy Kidman.
