The Monday Night Fallout continues. The Jan. 4 live iMPACT broadcast has set the Internet Wrestling Community ablaze with opinions and more rumors of future plans.   One of the things that many lamented was the poorly booked X-Division “Steel Asylum” match that opened the show. It ended in a disqualification finish after Homicide used a baton on the other competitors.    The X-Division is capable of better matches and TNA has used the Asylum gimmick better in the past as well. In the Christmas rush, another story has surfaced regarding TNA’s Jan. 4 live episode.  Are we in for shakeup within the most beautiful faction of wrestling?   Word is circulating all over the Internet that The Beautiful People’s former leader, Angelina Love, is set to return to TNA.   Sean McCaffrey of DOIWrestling.com, who also runs a female wrestling promotion called Wrestling Superstars Uncensored, has said that Love will make her return on Jan. 4 during the three-hour live iMPACT broadcast.   Regarding whether this claim is legitimate, McCaffrey deals personally with Love through his WSU promotion.  She appeared on his latest program and is also booked ...

As we know, Sheik Abdul Bashir was the unfortunate recipient of the “Fired” case during the “Feast or Fired” match at Final Resolution this past Sunday.  His TNA contract was immediately terminated at the end of that match.   Some out there may wonder in a match like this if such firings are simply short term storyline exits or if they are completely legitimate firings.  In the case of the Sheik, this departure is legitimate.  He spent a part of his time Sunday evening before the event saying goodbye to fellow colleagues.   We remember Shawn Daivari (his real name) making his first prominent ...

It appears that there is a new tag team that could be making their way into TNA.   The Young Bucks are a hot young tag team that has most recently been involved within ROH.  Matt and Nick Massie (who go by Matt and Nick Jackson in the ring) are from Southern California and have had a lifelong love of wrestling.    With Nick weighing 178 lbs, and Matt weighing 172 lbs, they are not large men but they are very athletic high-fliers.   In 2004 with the help of family, Matt started his own promotion.  High Risk Wrestling ran a number of shows in California.  ...

TNA is seeing a few changes in their Knockouts division.   As has been reported previously here at Bleacher Report, as well as in other places, Christy Hemme has announced via a podcast that she has retired from active in-ring wrestling.   Christy openly admitted that she found herself nervous during the six-woman tag match on iMPACT on Oct. 29.  During the match, she tensed up before taking a chokeslam from Lacey Von Erich.   Hemme was quoted as saying “I felt it wasn’t right to continue. For the first time, WWE had an entire pay-per-view event based around the concept of tables, ladders, and chairs.  While not every match was contested under those rules, it proved to be a different and interesting concept. Two items were of note tonight that involved rising Superstars on much different tracks.  Kofi Kingston went one on one with Randy Orton in the early portion of the card.  In one of the main event matches, Sheamus squared off with John Cena in a Tables Match for the WWE Championship.  Both matches came up with different results.
