Yes the slideshow mania continues. They've gotten great reception so here is another. Today's topic, Stiff Strikes.Japan is most famous for this. They have an entire subcultural of wrestling called Puroresu that focuses on the moves being as real as possible. I'm going to use a lot of American indy footage however. WWE and Matel’s New Action Figures At Comic-Con, Savage And Warrior!!!!

WWE recently debuted their new action figures at Comic-Con in San Diego. WWE struck a deal with the Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage to create action figures. Perhaps this is the first step to repairing their relationship with the WWE and to move onto the Hall of Fame. You can view some pictures (including a huge-ass Undertaker) on WWE's Facebook page here. The Sheamus doll is surprisingly just as white as he is. Lucha Libre USA: Get On The Bandwagon

After i finished watching Smackdown, I looked through my DVR and decided to watch the new Lucha Libre USA show MTV has just debuted. They kept talking about how they were going to bring Lucha Libre to the states but I just expected some lame botch-filled piece of crap. I couldn't be more wrong. To my surprise, I saw well designed wrestling show. I saw great Mexican athletes putting on exciting matches. It had almost zero storyline, but it's the first episode, so that is expected. The crowd was pretty dead as well but again, they haven't been introduced to the style yet ...
