WWE: Breaking Down The Epic Promo Between Christian and Edge

Posted by Captain Charisma On May - 3 - 2010
After watching Smackdown this following week, I think that all the WWE PEEPS that were worried that Smackdown could not rebound by the supposed mauling they took at the WWE Draft had their fears alleviated. Smackdown produced a show that had a great match in Cody Rhodes vs John Morrison which highlighted what many of us had forgotten during his time with Legacy; that Cody is a damn good singles worker and a damn good heel to boot. Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho produced another good match thus ending their epic five-day feud. We had an angle-furthering tag-team bout between the ...

WWE: How It Would Be Run If Captain Charisma Was in Charge

Posted by Captain Charisma On April - 25 - 2010
As you may well know, I am a Peep and if you do not know what that is, I sure as hell don't mean the marshmallows, folks. A Peep is a fan of the greatest wrestler alive today: He is known by various monikers from the most famous of "Captain Charisma" and "The Instant Classic" to lesser known one such as "Pontiff of the Peepulation", the "Livewire" and just for Andrea Claire..."Sweet Daddy Freak Out". No matter what he is called, he remains the best in the world at what he does. Although Chris Jericho, a great in his own right, uses ...
Overall, TNA Lockdown was a disappointing affair with again the limelight being pushed on the old timers in Hogan, Flair and indeed Bischoff. With the Lethal Lockdown match being the main event, it proved that Hogan and Co. are not ready to step out of the limelight even though it is well over 10 years since they deserved the limelight to be shone ever so brightly upon them. Case in point, the match for the most prestigious championship in TNA was put on as a semi-main event rather than THE main event; a match which included the cornerstone of TNA in ...

Randy Orton vs Edge Monday Night Raw 2007: Forgotten Classic Vol. V

Posted by Captain Charisma On November - 23 - 2009
After a month long hiatus, the fabled Forgotten Classic series written by the biggest Peep in the world is back for the milestone of its fifth Volume. This edition was inspired by two of your fellow B/R Peeps; Andrea Claire and Miss Annie. These two are Edgeheads and Ortonites, respectively, and I thought I would give a shout out to these two by dedicating this next volume to Rated RKO, or more specifically, the implosion of Rated RKO 2007. So prepare to go down memory line and revisit a classic matchup between two wrestlers that have ...

MvM: Bow Down To The Charismatic Magnificence Of The Captain

Posted by Captain Charisma On November - 20 - 2009
*This article has been rated Triple-C by the B/R Commission due it being extremely charismatic nature, having a smattering of Christian and being written by someone who is crazy when it comes to the Captain. A further warning is needed for Edgeheads, Ortonites, Jericholics and any other of the blinded and misguided folks that believe that 1) their idol is the best and 2) that they are the bigger maniac because you will bare witness to my charismatic magnificence and as the age old saying goes ; this article will open ...

Remembering the Legend That Was Eddie Guerrero

Posted by Captain Charisma On November - 14 - 2009
Nov. 13, 2005 will forever be imprinted on the minds of every wrestling fan as it was the day that a true great sadly passed from this world; that great was indeed Eddie Guerrero. After scouring the Internet, I was both shocked and ashamed that very few of my fellow wrestling writers had remembered the fourth anniversary of the death of Eddie Guerrero. Only one article has been posted on B/R so I was compelled...no, I was driven to change that and to make sure that everyone out there will take some time out to think about the career and life of Latino Heat. I ...

John Cena May Have Won, But It Was the Viper Who Stole the Show

Posted by Captain Charisma On October - 26 - 2009
WWE Bragging Rights, the first PPV of its kind, was a mixed bag. The first match of the night was between former tag team champions; The Miz and John Morrison. The match was solid, but I was left feeling a bit disappointed because these two could produce so much more. I was pleasantly surprised that The Miz picked up the win. The second match of the night was the Team Raw Vs. Team Smackdown 3-on-3 Divas match. The result was a foregone conclusion with the score having to be evened out so the decider would be the 7-on-7 Raw Vs. Smackdown main ...

Forgotten Classic Vol. IV: Christian Vs Chris Jericho Wrestlemania XX

Posted by Captain Charisma On October - 25 - 2009
Volume IV of the Forgotten Classics series was inspired by the recent encounter between these two top stars of this generation and led me down memory lane where I relived this bout between Captain Charisma and Y2J that was fuelled by blood-lust, anger and a woman. I present to you all Christian Vs. Chris Jericho at the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania XX . Enjoy, my B/R Peeps! March 14th 2004 , Madison Square Gardens , Wrestlemania 20: Christian Vs. Chris Jericho (with Trish Stratus) Christian and Chris Jericho were the perfect tag-team in 2003; both were as arrogant as each other, both ...

Christian and Chris Jericho Tear The House Down

Posted by Captain Charisma On October - 24 - 2009
Being a regular viewer of ECW, mainly due to the fact that the ECW Champion Christian is the face of the show but also because of the high quality matches that this 1-hour show produces on a consistent basis, I was in awe when a certain 2008 Superstar of the Year walked past our screens and instantly made an impact in the Land of Extreme; the man I am talking about is indeed Chris Jericho. Initially, Chris Jericho had come to scout talent for his Smackdown Team for WWE Bragging Rights which includes the main-event of Team Raw Vs. Team Smackdown.Apart ...

Forgotten Classic Vol. Three: Christian vs Randy Orton

Posted by Captain Charisma On October - 11 - 2009
The wait is over my B/R peeps. It is the return of the legendary Forgotten Classics series written by B/R's own Captain Charisma. This week, I will relive a match between the formerly known Instant Classic Christian vs the formerly know Legend Killer, now going by The Viper, Randy Orton. Enjoy!! Raw, Feb. 14, 2005: Christian (with Tyson Tomko) vs. Randy Orton In 2005 Christian was the cocky, arrogant heel that the fans loved to hate and Randy Orton was in the midst of his (failed) face run since Evolution had turned on him. Both had seen their respective pushes falter; Randy ...
