WWE: Undertaker Can Only Face One Man in His Final WrestleMania Match

Posted by Chris O Connall On August - 13 - 2011
First of all, I am a huge Undertaker fan.He, along with Shawn Michaels and the man I propose he face at his final Wrestlemania, are the only three men who I have 100 percent respect for.Sure, I respect others like The Rock, Austin, Triple H and even John Cena, but there is no one person I respect more and love to watch more than Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and the man I would have wrestle Taker in his final Wrestlemania match, Kurt Angle.Think about it for a minute. Angle and Undertaker have provided us with about 30 years of WWE moments ...
As we all know, the WWE Draft 2011 is scheduled to take place this Monday, the 25th of April. It has been well documented that this year's draft is being rushed due to Edge's sudden retirement. For once, I have to agree with WWE. They made the right call on this one. There is a huge imbalance between talent distribution on the rosters and it needs to be corrected. With that announcement, the buzz about the draft began. I think I should give my two cents so here goes. (I will presume that Undertaker and Triple H are not going to be part ...

WWE Issues List of Banned Terms to International Voice-Over Workers

Posted by Chris O Connall On April - 13 - 2011
Thanks to LordsofPain.net for the following. Just thought I'd bring you this tidbit of information which gives us yet a further insight into the mindset of the WWE. I find some of the new regulations laughable and almost embarrassing. WWE has an information sheet titled "The Language of WWE" that they send out to people that do international voice-overs for their TV shows in other countries. The sheet includes a list of "Incorrect Terminology" and a list of "Correct Terminology." "The Language of WWE" reads like this: "World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is a publicly traded entertainment company (NYSE: WWE) that creates and delivers a weekly action ...

Major Spoiler Regarding the Future of Steve "Sting" Borden

Posted by Chris O Connall On February - 24 - 2011
This is perhaps the hottest story of the year—will Sting debut in WWE or will he re-sign with TNA? Well, according to LordsofPain.net, Sting has in fact decided to stick with the devil he knows and has reportedly re-signed with TNA, according to two sources inside the company. While this will come as a disappointment to many WWE fans, myself included, the writing has been on the wall for some time, especially since Sting wasn’t the subject of the 2.21.11 promos. However, I feel that if Vince McMahon really wanted Sting, he’d have flown out to Venice Beach himself with a blank cheque ...

WWE’s Return of 2 Legends: Why Did One Get a Bigger Pop Than the Other?

Posted by Chris O Connall On February - 22 - 2011
Last night on Monday Night Raw, all the speculation came to an end. The mystery man in black in that dark house on that stormy night was revealed. That man was The Undertaker. From the beginning of the show, we were teased with a countdown clock which would subtly appear every now and then, reminding us (as if we needed reminding) that the time was almost upon us. The spectacular promos came to an end in an eerie fashion. The Undertaker opened the door in menacing fashion as if to say, ''Enter if you dare.'' Back to the arena, the lights were out except ...

Breaking News: Major Spoiler Regarding WWE’s Wrestlemania 27 Host

Posted by Chris O Connall On February - 13 - 2011
According to www.wrestlenewz.com, WWE legend Dwayne ‘’The Rock’’ Johnson is set to be unveiled as the guest host of WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta, Georgia. The article reports that the word going around the locker room is that Vince McMahon will announce ‘’The Great One’’ as the guest host on tomorrow's Monday Night Raw. The Rock has been heavily rumored to host and one source confirms that is the plan. It is unknown if The Rock will appear live on Raw or via satellite. The website added that there are no plans for The Rock to wrestle at the event. While ...
Welcome to my first article on this for a considerable amount of time. Firstly, thanks to everybody who read my last article and apologies for not responding to many of your comments...but I took them all on board and I value each and every one of them. As you all know by now, last Monday's Raw scored a 2.7 in the ratings. That is, or so I have read, the lowest rating achieved by the show in 13 years. Now, that show featured what was being billed as the ''First time ever'' match between Chris Jericho and Randy Orton and it was the ...

WWE: Huge Updates On Current Creative Plans For Wrestlemania 27 In Atlanta!

Posted by Chris O Connall On September - 15 - 2010
Thanks to LordsofPain.net for this update on current creative plans for Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta Georgia. While in geography class today, and when I was supposed to be looking up information on the plate tectonic theory on the internet, I became bored. (Understandably so I think you'll agree!) So, I decided to browse various things on the internet. After I realised that all my friends were in school and I couldn't chat with them on facebook, I decided to check out the current buzz in the internet wrestling community. Alas, I found myself on LordsofPain.net, and my attention was immediately drawn to the news ...

WWE: Could Raw Roulette Spell the End For Chris Jericho’s Current Stint?

Posted by Chris O Connall On September - 12 - 2010
Tomorrow night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw will feature the return of Raw roulette, a concept originally introduced by Eric Bischoff in 2002. However, this is going to be a ''PG'' Raw roulette. That means no first blood matches, no bra and panties, or anything too violent. I believe that the best we can hope for is a steel cage match, a ladder match or a knock-off no disqualification match...and that's the best we can hope for! However, the real draw for this episode of Raw is the ''Chris Jericho Saga.'' As everybody knows, Jericho's contract is up in the very near future. ...

WWE’s Major Changes To Come? Rumored Roster and Logo Changes!

Posted by Chris O Connall On August - 25 - 2010
As I lay on my bed, on my first day off from school due to me being ''sick,'' I began to think about the near future of WWE. This article will be divided into two sections—roster shake ups and production changes. We all know that WWE will be making some major shake ups to the roster for Smackdown's debut on SyFy. WWE stars such as Randy Orton, The Miz, John Cena, Edge, John Morrison, Wade Barrett and Chris Jericho are all rumoured to be moving to Smackdown—which means some stars will have to go the other way. Lets deal with these rumors one by one. John ...
