WWE WrestleMania 2016 Results: Worst Booking Decisions from PPV

Posted by Chris Roling On April - 4 - 2016
WWE broke records Sunday night in Arlington, Texas, and got plenty right at WrestleMania 32, but what the company got wrong sticks out worse than usual on such a major stage.  The good? Steve Austin came back. The Rock had a flamethrower. WWE listened to fans and went with Zack Ryder as intercontinental champion. Baron Corbin, one of the roster's most improved Superstars of late, got a win in the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy. But overall it seemed like heels took wins more than usual. Dean Ambrose going down at the hands of Brock Lesnar couldn't be helped, but the match ...

Three rise above the rest when it comes to momentum with WWE turning the page to a new chapter.   WrestleMania 31 Full Results   Rusev Good news—wins and losses aren't such a big deal in ...

Posted by Chris Roling On October - 27 - 2014
The lines for the 2014 edition of WWE's Survivor Series have been drawn, as John Cena will lead Team Cena against Team Authority in a traditional main event at the pay-per-view. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H revealed the news on the Oct. 27 edition of Raw, which was immediately confirmed by the promotion on Twitter: Less than 24 hours removed from becoming the No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship thanks to a victory over Randy Orton at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Cena is now faced with forming a team to counter the Authority. The possibilities for the ...
When decade-long rivals John Cena and Randy Orton step into the Hell in a Cell at Sunday's pay-per-view of the same name, one will emerge as the No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H revealed the stipulation on the Oct. 20 edition of Raw, which WrestlingINC.com illustrated on Twitter, with a humorous quip about Lesnar's recent absence for good measure: As if Cena and Orton's pure dislike for one another after more than a decade of a very personal, violent feud was not enough, now the two have a chance at reclaiming the top prize in the ...

Roman Reigns Is Not Ready to Encounter Brock Lesnar for WWE Title

Posted by Chris Roling On August - 18 - 2014
Roman Reigns' quick ascension up the WWE ladder as the promotion's next big thing has directly paralleled Brock Lesnar's unprecedented, historic run to the WWE title. So it is only right the two meet in the ring with the strap hanging in the balance, right? Wrong. The simple fact of the matter is, Reigns' in-ring work is not up to par when it comes to the main event scene, which means it does not sniff WrestleMania's main event requirements. Which is where we are with Reigns at the moment, as early rumblings suggest WWE Creative is currently considering Reigns or The Rock as ...
Brock Lesnar conquered John Cena Sunday night and laid claim to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, a caveat that may just be the tip of the iceberg. Now unquestionably at the top of the WWE food chain after taking down The Undertaker to beat the streak and more recently tossing around Cena like a ragdoll, Lesnar himself put it best in a video interview with TMZ after the pay-per-view: "I look at it as I'm just getting started."   Surely those are prophetic words. In the interview he also issued a challenge to Cena for a rematch and, perhaps most noteworthy of ...
