Last night’s Raw can be summed up in one word: Awkward. The 34-second Divas match: Awkward. The announcers feeling sorry for the Miz: Awkward. John Cena’s empty arena promo after the Rock threw his merchandise into Boston Harbor: Awkward. Jack Swagger’s hair: Awkward. Zack Ryder’s smile after Eve kissing him: Awkward and pathetic. In the last fifteen years, the WWE has created several innovative matchups that are now part of wrestling folklore. The "Hell in a Cell," the "Inferno" match, the "Last Man Standing" match, the "TLC" match, the "Elimination Chamber" and most recently, the "Money in the Bank" ladder match. However, that “most recently” was seven years ago.
