Jack Swagger: Does His Absence from TV Mean That His WWE Run Is Over?

Posted by Jacob Rachwal On August - 11 - 2012
It has been two weeks since we have seen Jack Swagger on WWE television. The last time we saw him, he was quickly being squashed by Brodus Clay on the 1,000th episode of Raw. This is leading me to wonder if we have seen the last of Jack Swagger on WWE TV. Prior to the terrible loss to Clay, Swagger suffered a series of defeats after being dumped by Vickie Guerrero in favor of Dolph Ziggler. One positive for Swagger is that he is currently on the WWE tour in Japan, but he is being jobbed out to the likes ...

John Cena Will Win the WWE Championship at Raw 1000

Posted by Jacob Rachwal On July - 21 - 2012
As was announced last Monday on Raw, John  Cena will be cashing in his Money in the Bank contract against CM Punk on the 1000th episode of Raw this coming Monday night. This all seems very coincidental, which makes it seem like a sure thing that Cena will likely defeat CM Punk on Monday. Few can doubt that John Cena is the poster boy of the WWE. On this monumental occasion, it seems perfect for Cena to regain the WWE Championship in the Main Event and carry the WWE into SummerSlam, the Number two PPV of the year for WWE. It ...
Over the last couple of days, Pwinsider.com has reported that Bruno Sammartino has once again declined an offer by the WWE to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013. This is a major blow to the WWE because they have wanted Bruno to go into the Hall of Fame for years. Bruno’s main reasons for declining the offer have been because of his issues with Vince McMahon as well as his disapproval of the current product that WWE presents on TV. It is a real shame that Bruno will not be included in the Hall of ...

The 6 WWE Legends Who Have Gone Stale

Posted by Jacob Rachwal On June - 30 - 2012
The WWE has a number of former stars that appear on special events and they are collectively known as “Legends.” These former superstars appear on WWE television for big events and are often involved in comedy routines. Unfortunately, some of these stars have become overexposed and no longer carry the aura that they once did. I go as far as saying that they have become stale. Before we begin, I want to clarify that I am a fan of all of these people; but unfortunately, they have been poorly used by the WWE. This has caused their characters to become ...
Over the past week on WWE TV, Dolph Ziggler has been added to the World Championship match at No Way Out against current champion, Sheamus, to replace the injured Alberto Del Rio.Given that Ziggler is a last minute replacement, I don’t think he is likely to win the championship. Though this can be seen as a fair and deserved push for Ziggler, I think that this will just be a continuation of the silent feud that has been going on over the past month with Jack Swagger. As you may remember, Ziggler became upset with the losing streak that he ...
TNA President Dixie Carter announced that Christian will appear at TNA Slammiversary, leading to online speculation that Christian may be the first inductee into TNA's new Hall of Fame. What about Jeff Jarrett? Jeff Jarrett has been the lifeblood of the organization since he created TNA Wrestling with his father Jerry Jarrett. Though he has since sold controlling shares of the company to Panda Energy, his name is still synonymous with TNA. With that being said, it seems that it would only be fitting that he, not Christian, should be the first inductee in the TNA Hall of Fame. No one ...
TNA President Dixie Carter announced that Christian will appear at TNA Slammiversary, leading to online speculation that Christian may be the first inductee into TNA's new Hall of Fame. Clearly, this would be a huge event and unlike anything that has happened before. The Ric Flair Hall of Fame induction this year was similar, but Flair is long past his prime. Christian was World Champion just a year ago. There is a distinct difference. In my opinion, there are three things that come to mind and I will address them is subsequent slides.Begin Slideshow
Without a doubt, the most under-reported event that happened on Monday Night Raw was the inclusion of Drew McIntyre on Team Johnny at Wrestlemania. Drew has had a very poor year and simply does not deserve a spot on “the grandest stage of them all.” Drew McIntyre was chosen by John Laurentius to replace Christian, who was injured on Monday Night Raw. The idea of McIntyre replacing someone of the caliber of Christian is laughable. Clearly Drew McIntyre is a talented wrestler. He was even singled out by Mr. McMahon a couple of years ago as the future of the ...
