WWE:The Eras of Pro Wrestling and the Generation of Today and Tommorow

Posted by Jamal Parker On October - 8 - 2010
Many of you have heard my story. You read it, liked it, and commented with words of praise. Never have I achieved such a feat in here. By sharing my story and telling my trial and journey into pro wrestling and the IWC itself, I received more likes than any other of my articles combined. On my birthday (9/17/10) I logged on and saw a Sapphire Medal in my medal collection. I was so thrilled to get that medal, and let’s just say that made my birthday because turning 14 wasn’t the best ever.  I was fully welcomed to the B/R ...

Posted by Jamal Parker On October - 3 - 2010
Hey Bleacher Reporters and Commentors! As we all know Hell In The Cell is TONIGHT, the past two RAW and Smackdown! Shows have attempted to build-up this PPV in a measly two weeks just after the Night Of Champions PPV (which was a good PPV if I might add). The build-up has included matches such as the WWE Championship match against Randy and Sheamus, The Undertaker vs Kane with Paul Bearer added to the mix (YES!).  And the very interesting match Submissions Count Everywhere U.S. Title Match between Daniel Bryan, The Miz and John Morrison. Also including the Divas match between Natayla and Michelle McCool ...

Coming Of Age: A WWE Fanboy’s Path To The IWC’s Clutches

Posted by Jamal Parker On September - 11 - 2010
We all are young in a point in our life, when things were simple and life was all about you. The only drama was little Katie kissing little Johnny in Kindergarten, the only pain we felt was when we bruised ourselves outside in the playpen, and well, the world revolved around us! Things didn’t get so complex and frustrating, and if it did it was only something so minor. Problems weren’t drawn out; they were relatively easy to figure out. We had the dream to achieve to go beyond ALL possibilities. We were hurt easily, but with encouragement from our mothers, we got ...

WWE: Got Bucks for the Blockbuster? Underneath the Summerslam Card…

Posted by Jamal Parker On August - 12 - 2010
Hey Bleacher Reporters and Commentors! As WWE's Summer Blockbuster PPV Event Summerslam is just days away. And while WWE is spending a whole lot of time hyping to Pay Per View up, most fans could care less about the PPV. This year's Summerslam currently only has 5 matches on it's card. Compared to last year's eight matches. The matches currently are:   WWE Champion Sheamus vs. Randy Orton World Heavyweight Champion Kane vs. Rey Mysterio Team WWE vs. The Nexus (Elimination Tag Team Match)   Big Show vs. The Straight Edge Society (3-on-1 Handicap Match) Divas Champion Alicia Fox vs. Melina And from the likes of it, by tommorow night we'll have a ...
WWE is all about its faces and heels, the classic good guys and the foils known as the bad guys. WWE superstars can make a face/heel turn any time. The turns are often surprising, they can be expected, or it's just the crowd that turns the character around! Well, anyway, right now I see a whole bunch of changes coming with most of their superstars. The next couple slides will show superstars who I think will make a heel or face turn within the next year. Well, enough talking; let's start, shall we?Begin Slideshow

The Confessions of a Wrestling Fan: Who Would You Be, Face or Heel?

Posted by Jamal Parker On July - 22 - 2010
Hey, fellow Bleacher Report-ers and commentators! My first installment of "The Confessions of a Wrestling Fan" asked which of the two superstars you preferred, Edge or Orton. That was met with a lot of great feedback, so I've written another installment. In the professional wrestling world, superstars are there to make storylines and entertain the audience. What better way to entertain than to create a character foil to the good guys?   The Heels The bad guys—heels—will do anything to garner heat from the crowd: They'll relentlessly torture the classic babyfaces with their violent antics, insulting superstars and crowd alike using physical means or the mic.  The heels ...

WWE Divas: Smart, Sexy, and Powerful, Yet No Soul

Posted by Jamal Parker On July - 16 - 2010
Hey Fellow Bleacher Reporters and commenters! Many people on Bleacher Report and IWC have expressed their opinions and feelings regarding the Diva's Division in the WWE. It's become a common element of the IWC to criticize the Diva's Division and Women's Wrestling itself. In fact, to some, it's become so pointless and horrid that they suggest getting rid of the division itself! All kinds of complaints are stirred throughout! On Bleacher Report, it's the lack of wrestling ability and quality matches, while on YouTube, it's the lack of striptease and a stupid PG rating preventing anything that happened in the Ruthless Aggression and ...

Confessions Of a Wrestling Fan: Orton Or Edge?

Posted by Jamal Parker On July - 13 - 2010
Hey fellow Bleacher Reporters and Commentors! The following article is just a little idea I had in my head. I originally had another article in mind but I put that off for a much later date. When the time comes, it'll be published and ready to go! But as for now.... I present you all with this:                    The Confessions of a Wrestling Fan: Orton Or Edge?   Now, some of you guys may have already figured where I got this from, if not, the title of this article, is a chip off the annoying, slogan of the never-ending Twilight Saga—yes from the books, films, and ...
