Creativley Lacking: Why WWE Needs a Team of WWE Fans as Writers

Posted by JD .WRESTLING On April - 8 - 2011
On Monday night’s Raw there was a terrific tag team match with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk vs. Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. All four men in the match had history with their competitors. Punk feuded with Mysterio during his straight edge messiah storyline last year and even wrestled at WrestleMania 26. Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton were together in Legacy and feuded briefly, culminating in a triple threat at WrestleMania 25. However, the announce team did not bring up any history on these past rivalries. Just once in that one match they could have mentioned the bad blood present, ...

WWE: How John Morrison Ensured He’ll Never Be a Top Guy

Even if the "Shaman of Sexy" is a thrilling showman, performing stunts many superstars cannot, John Morrison lacks two key qualities of superstars in the world of professional wrestling: the respect of Vince McMahon and microphone skills. However, Vince would soon change his mind week to week on what he really wanted. Now it seems instead of promo’s 101, Vince should be teaching Public Relations 101, because recently the WWE has come under fire from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), which took issue with 'homophobic taunts' John Cena directed towards The Rock on the February 28 edition of Monday Night Raw, as well as a homophobic slur ...
This past Monday’s RAW from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia drew 15,654 fans with 12,500 of those being paid, making it the seventh consecutive sellout for RAW. Monday’s episode of RAW featured a total of 30 minutes and 11 seconds of in-ring action. While this doesn’t sound like much for a two-hour broadcast, this is actually way up from the previous week’s show, which only featured 17 minutes and 39 seconds of actual WRESTLING (yeah I said it!) At Sunday’s WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view, we saw WWE Champion The Miz defy the odds and retain his title against John Cena. WWE officials ...
