Finally, the WWE's latest tag team, Los Matadores, made their television debut. After weeks of being promoted, the team of Fernando and Diego, a pair of bullfighters from Spain, have made it onto television, and while last night's Monday Night Raw crowd may not have shown the level of excitement that WWE officials would have liked, it's not too late to still be excited about Los Matadores.  But who are these mysterious masked men?  As I have pointed out in the past, the men portraying Los Matadores are not new to WWE television. Former tag team champions, Primo and Epico are now donning ...
After 21 years of remaining undefeated at the largest wrestling event of the year, the Undertaker and WrestleMania seem to be the peanut butter and chocolate of the wrestling world—both are great individually but together, they create a combination that is beyond this world.  Without a doubt, the Undertaker's streak has taken on a life of its own. What originally started as an unnoticed trend in the WWE's booking has now become the center stage for WrestleMania every year.  More than the titular main event match, the Undertaker's match at WrestleMania is the reason many spend their hard-earned cash every April. In a ...
WrestleMania 29 has come and gone, and yet even now, five days removed from the biggest event in all of sports entertainment, the impact of the shows of all shows is still felt. Yes, CM Punk's match again the Undertaker is one that fans will be talking about for years to come, and Cena's victory against the Rock will have a great impact on how the main event scene of the WWE will look in the coming months, but if there had to be one superstar who most benefited from the buzz that WrestleMania generates it would have to be the ...

Congratulations are in order to the world's largest professional wrestling promotion—the WWE's YouTube channel has reached one million subscribers.Though the WWE began posting videos on the popular website in 2007, the WWE's partnership with YouTube last year demonstrated the company's interest in expanding its footing in the world of social media. The WWE's interest in having an online presence was fueled in part by the popularity of WWE Superstar Zack Ryder's YouTube show Z! True Long Island Story. Ryder had managed to reach over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube before his popular show was integrated to the WWE's own lineup. In addition to ...
Team Rhodes Scholars is no more. The popular tag team of Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes has been officially broken up. After almost half a year of working together, the "Intellectual Savior" Damien Sandow and the second-generation superstar Cody Rhodes will be returning to singles competition. Though Team Rhodes Scholars failed to take the WWE Tag Team Championships from the team of Daniel Bryan and Kane—collectively known as Team Hell No—Damien and Rhodes did experience a rise in popularity as a team. In honor of almost six months of partnership, here is a list of Team Rhodes Scholars' top seven moments as a tag ...

Posted by Luis Campos On February - 2 - 2013
Debuting on the August 27, 2012 edition of Monday Night Raw, Team Rhodes Scholars, composed of WWE superstars Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes, officially have parted ways. The decision was announced on the latest edition of SmackDown, effectively making February 1, 2013 the last day—at least for now—that the team is together. The WWE's creative team's decision to divide both superstars might come as a surprise to some, specially given the surge in popularity both men had together. Many fans had speculated that Team Rhodes Scholars would be the next tag team champions in the recently revived tag team division—taking the title ...

Ranking Brock Lesnar’s Onslaught on the WWE Roster Since His Return

Posted by Luis Campos On January - 29 - 2013
Despite his limited appearances on WWE television, Brock Lesnar has managed to wreck his way through the WWE roster ever since his initial return to the world's largest pro wrestling promotion on the April 2, 2012 episode of Monday Night Raw. Though Lesnar's in-ring persona portrays him as an unstable man, one thing is certain—whenever someone is in the ring with Lesnar, that person is bound to get "injured." From John Cena to Triple H, and most recently Vince McMahon, Lesnar's opponents have faced the fury of the "Next Big Thing." All injuries, however, are not made the same, and thankfully for Lesnar's opponents, some ...

Stratus' Hall of Fame induction  is just another of the Diva's multiple accomplishments—including being named Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Woman of the Decade (2000-2009). In honor of Trish Stratus latest accomplishment,  here's a list celebrating the most memorable moments of her career.  Begin Slideshow

Posted by Luis Campos On January - 22 - 2013
Only one week after her departure from the WWE it is safe to say that Eve Torres will be missed. Despite the minimal interest in women's wrestling from the pro-wrestling community, Torres' in-ring skills and charisma had allowed her to become one of the WWE's top female performers. Now that the former dancer has moved on to bigger and better things, she leaves a gaping hole in the already struggling WWE Divas Division. In honor of the Diva's run with the WWE here are some of Eve Torres' top WWE moments. Begin Slideshow
