Well, it looks like that WWE not only plan on having Kevin Nash as a regular character from here on out but they expect him to compete as well. PWInsider (via WrestleScoop) are reporting that Nash has cancelled all his booked dates for Independent events in Canada because WWE are expecting him to take a medical to clear his fitness to wrestle. It will be interesting to see if Nash still has what it takes to hang with the best, if a conflict with former WWE Champion, CM Punk, is on the cards. While Nash made a special appearance at the ...

WWE Extreme Rules: The Truth Behind a Certain No.1 Contender?

Posted by Max Wake On April - 13 - 2011
In the wake of Edge's retirement, very little emphasis has been placed on R-Truth's placement in the WWE Championship match at the Extreme Rules PPV. In regards to what has been said about his big push, the reaction has not exactly been positive, but it's not hard to see why. R-Truth has in-ring talent, but nothing one could say is that of a deserving talent. For the last two weeks before Raw, he hadn't been on WWE Programming in any sense, it has been even longer since he had appeared on Monday Nights. The only two things that Truth had going for him ...

So Raw pretty much revived the build-up for WrestleMania, which had been lost in the preceding weeks. After the long-awaited confrontation between The Rock and John Cena happened, plenty of questions were left leading into the big event this Sunday. On SmackDown nothing really happened, and then WrestleMania was either okay or a disappointment depending on your point of view. This is Week 13 of the WWE League.Begin Slideshow
So here we are the biggest professional wrestling PPV of the year. The event usually has the ability to at least create one memorable moment that everyone can take away with them.Last year saw the retirement of Shawn Michaels after he failed to defeat The Undertaker for the second year in a row. This year at least promises some interesting matches providing all goes well. With no Money in the Bank ladder match, the mid-card has been developed much better going into the event, although it could still use some cleaning up.Last year's card was as follows:Tag Team Championship: ShoMiz(c) Def. ...

With The People's Champion, The Rock, making his first appearance on WWE PPV in seven years it seem appropriate to take a look at the past. Are you ready for WrestleMania?Well, maybe you can answer that in a few days but this is the last Week of the WWE League before WrestleMania is featured and acts as probably the biggest shift of points in the entire wrestling calender. So Raw saw a "new" (and I use the word lightly) WWE Championship brought into the company and Vickie Guerrero picked up yet another win...whilst on SmackDown. The rules of the league can be found here.Begin Slideshow

Squared Circle: WWE League: Week 11

No week is a good week when Vickie Guerrero steps into the ring to compete, and then to go on and defeat one of the greatest Women's Champion's of all time is just too much for me to take. Even if it was by notorious means. This is week 11 of the WWE League. If you are unaware with the rules of the League you can check them out here.Begin Slideshow

So last week Brie Bella was the winner of the Battle Royale (as mentioned on WWE.com) but Nikki Bella competed for the Diva's Championship. Well at least Eve managed to retain her championship. SmackDown, on the other hand, saw an Edge and Christian reunion that will surely please some hardcore E & C fans. This is week 10 of the WWE League. Squared Circle: WWE League: Week 9

You know I wish WWE would stop having the Bellas in matches. It makes it very difficult to tell who actually won the match when they are part of one. At least the Usos are separable by the tattoo on their chest. Anyway, this is week 9 of the WWE League which saw an interesting seven days (if light on wrestling). On Raw, Alex Riley is no longer the protege to Miz and SmackDown witness an odd line-up of matches. Here are the rules of the League.Begin Slideshow
