WWE: Jim Johnston’s Top 10 Theme Songs of All Time (Video)

Posted by Micheal Robinson On January - 14 - 2012
Jim Johnston, born James Alan Johnston has been working for the WWE since 1985.Johnston is the man behind most of the theme songs you heard and loved when you were young, as well as a number of current theme songs today.WWE knew exactly what they were doing when they got a music composer as good as Johnston to create wrestlers' theme songs. In my humble opinion, a theme song a wrestler uses is just as important as the moves he makes in the ring.Fans love theme songs, at least this one does, and they are one of the most remembered pieces ...

WWE Draft 2011: Is John Cena Being Sent to the Minor Leagues?

Posted by Micheal Robinson On April - 23 - 2011
Let's face it, we all know Monday Night Raw is the superior brand. It's legendary, it has better ratings and most importantly, it's live.  And, it will play host to the WWE Draft in 2011 next week. Many wrestling fans, unless they're living under a large boulder, realize that SmackDown is taped on Tuesdays and aired on Friday night.I think it is crucial for the WWE to eventually make SmackDown a live show because it is killing the ratings.  If people read spoilers and don't watch the show, then of course, the ratings will drop. Not only that, it takes away from ...

WWE 2011 Draft Preview: Predictions, Shockers, a Rush to Save SmackDown

Posted by Micheal Robinson On April - 18 - 2011
The ninth WWE Draft has been officially announced for Monday Night Raw in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 25.This move by WWE has some saying it is a bit rushed due to Edge's retirement from the WWE and lack of stars on SmackDown. To WWE's credit, the past two drafts were also held in April, so I am not that shocked that it has been announced.I normally am not excited about the draft, but I actually welcome this draft. Two years ago, I attended the WWE Draft in Atlanta, Georgia in the Philips Arena, and it wasn't anything special.I fully expect WWE to ...

WWE Smackdown: Tonight, We Say Goodbye to Edge

Posted by Micheal Robinson On April - 15 - 2011
I wanted to start this article off by saying, I am parched and could use a soda, because sodas rule! Tonight, we say goodbye to Edge. I should say that it isn't goodbye forever, because his in-ring memories will live on. Also, we know that Edge will always be loyal and involved with the WWE in some capacity. Whether you attended Smackdown, read a spoiler, or watched a spoiler clip, tonight is still special.   I never read Smackdown spoilers, but I couldn't help it this week; I wanted to make sure this was real.  I refuse to watch a spoiler clip or read ...

Edge’s WWE Retirement: Wishful Thinking, Shock and the Boy Who Cried Wolf

Posted by Micheal Robinson On April - 12 - 2011
There are moments that happen in the wrestling world that leave me nearly speechless, and this is one of those moments. On the April 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, in the second hour, Edge announced his retirement from World Wrestling Entertainment. What? I feel like holding back on looking at Edge's illustrious career in the WWE, because I don't want this to be real. Let's face it, a lot of wrestling moves are indeed real, but with the acting and staging of these moves, we know that theatrics of the business is planned. Edge's sudden announcement that he was ...

WWE Breaking News: World Heavyweight Champion Edge Retires?

Posted by Micheal Robinson On April - 11 - 2011
UPDATE: Edge has appeared on Raw and has supposedly announced his retirement from the WWE after a 13 year career with the WWE.If this is real, we are looking back on an historic career in the WWE as Edge has won more titles then anyone in WWE history. He currently is the older of the World Heavyweight Championship. If this isn't a work, and it is indeed real, we would see him relinquish the belt on Smackdown this week as well.I don't really know what to say, or think right now.  I for one, am thankful to have seen his career first ...

John Cena: It’s a Shame, I Was Starting to Like You

Posted by Micheal Robinson On April - 9 - 2011
John Cena, the man the IWC can't live with, and well, can't live with.I will be the first person to willingly admit that I have never liked John Cena.  It isn't hard for any of us to admit that.  But, to admit that he was growing on you, that is hard to do.I even wrote this article about him last November, John Cena: Finally, I Can See You.The last few years, even with the tabloid comments he made towards The Rock in a 2008 article with The Sun, I was starting to like the guy.I've been a WWE fan since ...
Over a month ago, The Rock made his return to the WWE after seven long years of being absent from the squared circle.Little did any of us know that he wasn't back to just say a few lines, host Wrestlemania and leave. He told us he would be back for good, and would also claim that, he is never, ever, going away.Back in 1996, when the "blue chipper" known as Rocky Maivia made his debut inside of a WWE ring at Survivor Series, not many of us knew the impact he would have on the wrestling industry.Fast forward to 2011, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a big Hollywood ...
