Obdurancy: Why Your Thoughts on This "PG Era" May Be Misinformed

Posted by nirreJ streboR On January - 10 - 2011
It's just so annoying; fans finds just about any excuse to bash the WWE all because of a content rating. When they hear a curse word, they say things like, "PG just flew out the window," when they see blood, they just flip out. How many fans out there have these misconceptions of the WWE?  Why is this so troubling to fans everywhere? What is this, a fad? Did it might just occur to some that there's more to PG than kids and John Cena? First of all, the Attitude Era is NEVER coming back. You can whine, moan, and cry ...

WWE Worried over Ratings: Juan Cena Confirmed To Appear Next Monday

Posted by nirreJ streboR On November - 25 - 2010
Wrestling News Source was quoted as saying, "The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE are concerned that RAW ratings will bomb if John Cena is kept off television for a substantial period during his "fired" storyline. To combat this WWE have decided to keep using John Cena but utilize him as Cena's Mexican cousin 'Juan Cena' and make him wrestle under a mask until he is granted a return."  This undoubtedly confirms the notion that the WWE is too reliant on Cena. Fan reaction to Cena's "firing" have been sordid with ...
I know this has been done before, and I'm sure some of you are rolling your eyes at seeing another article like this, but almost every episode of RAW: "May I have your attention, please. I have received an e-mail from the anonymous RAW General Manager. And I quote..," we dealt with for almost a year now. *Notification chime x2*. I couldn't care less for his involvement in any of the storylines, I grew more and more sick of his appearances and tenure...through a ...

"LordsofPain.net" was quoted as saying, "- As noted before, "Juan Cena" is being advertised for upcoming RAW events. Juan is being billed as John Cena's Mexican cousin." Now, I'm all for humor in wrestling, but this is just...what?! I mean, I know Cena's last name means "dinner" in spanish, but this is ridiculous. As I read this, a scenario jumped into my head: Juan Cena "debuts" (He'll probably be wearing a luchador mask.). > Barrett sees this and tries to reveal Juan as John, only to be foiled by some technicality or sporadic inconvenience. > They feud for a little while > ...

The Miz As New WWE Champion: Pros and Cons That Affect WWE and Himself

Posted by nirreJ streboR On November - 24 - 2010
For most fans, The Miz becoming the new WWE Champion came as a surprise to us all (not counting the scowling girl). But from different fans comes different perspectives. What exactly will become of Miz's title reign? How will it benefit the WWE? Will the WWE affect it positively or negatively? In my opinion, this sort of goes both ways for the WWE. Pros 1. We don't have to see the title go back and forth between Cena and Orton For quite some time, the WWE has mostly focused on fan favorites John Cena and Randy Orton. They focused on them ...
