2009 WWE Slammy Awards

Posted by Jessy Morris On December - 10 - 2009
Yet another year is close to being over and 2009 proved to be an exciting year for WWE fans. We witnessed some great matches and great rivalries. We saw superstars returning to the WWE to the delight of the fans. I know this may be a little bit early to do this considering the TLC event is still to come, but I may not be able to do it next week so I decided to do it now, anyway I doubt it changes at all. 2010 is coming pretty fast and it already seems that it will be a great year for ...

Stephen Farrelly: Taking A Closer Look At The Celtic Warrior Sheamus

Posted by Jessy Morris On November - 24 - 2009
Stephen Farrelly made his WWE debut as "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus on June 30th as part of the ECW brand. He began a rivalry with Goldust on ECW before moving on to a higher profile rivalry against Shelton Benjamin. It wasn't before being transferred to Raw that he got more exposure. His destruction of Jamie Noble was not really impressive, but it let the fans know that he had arrived. Survivor Series was his night to shine. Most fans, including myself thought that Sheamus was too aggressive and would get disqualified and that Team Morrison would pick up the win. Instead, ...

Could an Edge and Christian Reunion be Possible for WM 26?

Posted by Jessy Morris On October - 11 - 2009
A couple of months ago, Edge got injured while he was one half of the unified tag team champions along with Chris Jericho. Due to the injury, Jericho was forced to find a new tag team partner. That new partner was revealed to be The Big Show at Night Of Champions. Edge's injury also forced Jericho to turn his back on him saying that Edge was weak and not championship material enough to be his tag team partner. This incident left us a hint that Edge would return as a face, and right into a possible rivalry with Chris Jericho. Since ...

B/R Tag Team Tournament Results

Posted by Jessy Morris On October - 4 - 2009
After five articles, the final result for the tag team tournament has been revealed. Among 16 teams, only one has made it to the top and will win it all. Some of you will not agree, some of you will, but the votes speak and this team received the most votes in each match they were involved in. Before revealing the result, I would like to thank everybody for making this work out. Without your votes, this tournament would have been a big pile of nothing, so thanks to everybody. The Hardy Boyz fought well, but Edge and Christian earned 15 votes, while Matt and Jeff ...

It's safe to say that there is no love lost between the four men involved in this match.   Edge and Christian vs The Hardy Boyz What can we say about these two teams? They were popular, mysterious, and, most ...

B/R Tag Team Tournament Semi-Finals

Posted by Jessy Morris On September - 24 - 2009
We've made it to the semi-finals of the big tag team tournament. Only four teams are left and some would say that they are four of the greatest tag teams of all time. Every team from TNA wrestling has been eliminated so let's get to the matches. The Hardy Boyz vs The British Bulldogs The Hardyz got through a tough first round coming close to elimination against The Rockers. They pulled through and went on to eliminate The Hart Foundation and Harlem Heat. The British Bulldogs pretty much dominated all competition against The British Invasion, Legacy and The Motor City Machineguns. An eventual ...

B/R’s Tag Team Tournament: Quarter-Finals

Posted by Jessy Morris On September - 18 - 2009
With the second round now over, only eight teams are left standing, and it's time for the quarter-finals to begin. The second round featured some upsets, and such teams as LAX, Legacy, Los Guerreros, and The Hart Foundation have been eliminated. Let the quarter-finals begin.   The Hardy Boyz vs. Harlem Heat It's safe to say that, in my opinion, The Hardy Boyz pulled off the upset in the second round, eliminating The Hart Foundation. Harlem Heat also did well with the elimination of LAX. Although these two teams have never met in the ring, this would be an exciting match. Harlem Heat is much bigger ...

B/R’s Tag Team Tournament Round 1, Part 1

Posted by Jessy Morris On September - 8 - 2009
Through the years, pro wrestling has featured some great tag teams. Whether they were teams from ECW, WCW, TNA, or the WWE wasn't important, because they were all special in their own way. I had been planning on doing a Top 10 of wrestling's greatest tag teams but instead decided to create a tournament between 32 tag teams from past and present and you would decide who's the greatest. Featured here are 32 of the greatest tag teams in history. They will compete in a tournament every week and you will decide who advances and who gets eliminated. I tried to pick the best ...
