Chris Jericho’s 10 Best Matches of WWE Career

Posted by Rob Manisero On September - 4 - 2012
Just yesterday, it seemed everyone was speculating about the person (or people) behind the mystery promos being played week after week. After a month and a half of waiting, Chris Jericho appeared on the January 2 edition of Raw and he began his third stint in the WWE.That run, unfortunately, has already come to an end. Jericho, like many others before him, is pursuing interests outside of wrestling and his band Fozzy is gaining more momentum every day. Y2J will return again down the road, but until then, we can reflect on all the fantastic matches he has given the ...
It's hard to believe that the groundbreaking promo of CM Punk took place almost a year ago.June 27 was the date, and after John Cena lost a tables match thanks to a distraction from the Straight-Edge Superstar, Punk proceeded to take a seat on the stage and run through all the reasons he was leaving the company. His heated promo kicked off the "Reality Era" and set the stage for some intriguing storylines over the summer and fall of 2011. While things went off the rails a bit down the line, the original feud between Punk and Cena was pure gold.Their ...
For the first time on Raw last night, the Funkasaurus got a spot in the main event. Well, even though his match against the Big Show was billed as the last of the night, the bell never rang, and Show destroyed Clay, Kofi Kingston, and R-Truth.At the beginning of the night, it was interesting to see Brodus finally get what seemed to be a match that mattered. Welcome to Mani's 6 Degrees! For those who have not read one of these articles, here is a quick overview of the format. Similar to the six degrees of separation idea, I will give my thoughts on five different superstars while connecting them all together through past interactions or feuds.Usually, one superstar will be the focus of the article, but since Elimination Chamber is tomorrow, it is a special preview edition. The main focus of the article, who will be Daniel Bryan this week, will be both the first and last slide in order to bring the slideshow "full circle."For a little ...

Mani’s 6 Degrees: Royal Rumble 2012 Preview

Posted by Rob Manisero On January - 28 - 2012
Welcome to Mani's 6 Degrees! With the Royal Rumble coming up in less than 36 hours, this edition of my slideshow will focus on the first Pay-Per-View of the year.Currently, there are only four matches on the card, but all have been built up well. The CM Punk/Dolph Ziggler/John Laurinaitis feud has gotten hot lately, and John Cena is having one of the more hilarious attempts at a "heel turn" in recent memory. On top of those two, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, and Big Show will all be confined to a steel cage due to the variety of weird endings on SmackDown ...
