Awesome Kong posted the following on her official Twitter page:
"I'd like to thank @tnaDixie and all of the employees at TNA for wishing me the very best in my future endeavors."
Kong is still one half of the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions with Hamada. She was involved in an incident with former TNA personality Bubba the Love Sponge which resulted in Kong filing a lawsuit against him and Bubba threatening to file one against TNA.
Kong was perhaps the best Knockout TNA had since the division started and helped build it into one of the highest rated segments on the TNA iMPACT program.
