Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has amassed quite a remarkable resume, but if not for one man many years ago, his illustrious career may have been over before it ever started.
And it's all because of a pair of purple wrestling trunks.
The Rock took to Instagram on Sunday to share the story of him and his "Uncle Tonga," better known as former wrestler "King Haku." The two go back many years, as Johnson's grandfather trained Tonga in the 1970s. When it came time for The Rock to get a shot with WWE, King Haku came through in the clutch to ensure Johnson was ready for the opportunity.
