WWE is about to go into its two biggest pay-per-views without its biggest star. John Cena took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce he'll be undergoing surgery in Birmingham later this week.
There is no formal timetable on his recovery at this time. Nevertheless, it'd be relatively safe to rule him out for the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania at this point, which are only WWE's two biggest programs of the year. Scott Fishman of the Sun Sentinel offered his thoughts:
