John Cena was injured Tuesday night during a match at a Raw live event in Wilkes-Barre, Penn., and the WWE website acknowledged it as a "hip injury."
At last night's house show in Baltimore, fans in attendance were informed that Cena would not appear as advertised.
According to the Pro Wrestling Torch, ring announcer Justin Roberts told the crowd that Cena had a "serious injury" and was "medically prohibited" from competing in his scheduled match.
There's no word yet on the extent of his injury, but for what it's worth Cena has been replaced by The Big Show at Raw house shows for the remainder of the week.
