Let's go back to their Slammiversary Pay Per View, where Samoa Joe turned on A.J. Styles and handed Kurt Angle the TNA Heavyweight Championship belt. Joe was later revealed to be a part of the Main Event Mafia. My feelings on the Joe swerve can be read here.
Fast forward to the Bubba the Love Sponge scandal, where a mystery caller told of Karen Angle, Kurt's former wife,for sleeping with TNA founder Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett has not been seen on or around TNA since then.
