Effective Saturday, January 1, the WWE Universe website will be shut down.
There are actually two reasons for the decision. One is the fact that WWE is redesigning its website, and the second reason is the crippled economy.
Keep in mind it takes money to run a website, and given the fact that out economy has been in such bad shape the past few years, it has affected a multitude of businesses and industries. Companies like Circuit City and Linens 'n Things are but two unfortunate victims of our economy.
