With 2014 coming to a close, it's safe to say that it's been a historic year for WWE.
Regardless of what you thought of the year on the whole, from an in-ring standpoint, 2014 was filled with marvelous matches that will not be soon forgotten.
Even during the WWE's "dark days" (from September to December), there was still a lot of outstanding action saving the product from being completely unbearable to watch. From the main events of pay-per-views to the opening contests of Monday Night Raw, intense wrestling could be found on just about any WWE program at one point or another.
