Putting the last few months aside, it's hard to say 2015 wasn't a great year for WWE, especially from an in-ring standpoint.
It became apparent at January's Royal Rumble pay-per-view that we were in for a strong year of in-ring action when we witnessed a tremendous Triple Threat match between Brock Lesnar, John Cena and Seth Rollins. From there, the bar had been set for any contest that could be considered a Match of the Year candidate.
