Popularity doesn't always mean main event status. However, those mid-carders helped to build WWE and they have put over the bigger ones.
If they never reached the superstardom given by a World Title, they have let their mark on the tag team divisions and in the secondary championships scene such as the Intercontinental, Hardcore, or USA Titles.
Most of the best mid-carders have tasted, at different level, one or more main events but always on the losing end.
Despite they never won a major title they are legendary by their gimmicks, their feuds and/or their unique achievement.
Here are, in no particular order, the 10 wrestlers I consider the best mid-carders in WWE history.
