It’s a given that people within the world of professional wrestling are unable to keep their mouth shut. There are more leaks in the wrestling industry than of an old, battered hose.
This is where I come in―to deliver the news.
With the increasing popularity of Hit The Ropes I have been privileged enough to get to know people in the know. So, with the help of my sources in the business, here’s the dirt.
WWE
- With the recent injuries to Batista and Mr. Kennedy, it is reported that both men will be starring on an upcoming episode of the Fox drama, House.
- Chris Jericho will be working with the VH1 network. It is rumored that the Intercontinental champ will attempt to take out all the dishonest, hypocritical reality show participants on the station.
- Donald Trump has bought Monday Night RAW from Vince McMahon. Yeah, and several pigs were seen flying over California yesterday afternoon.
- Many fans were expecting to see Ric Flair show up on RAW to be named the new General Manager. Flair wasn’t in attendance as he was out looking for a new ex-wife.
- Many are speculating that Batista’s injury is a cover-up for a Wellness Policy violation. Many fail to remember that Batista has long ago failed a test―the test of actually being able to wrestle.
- After having four titles change hands at the Extreme Rules PPV, sources are reporting McMahon is now using a Magic 8-Ball to make his decisions.
TNA
- Abyss did the weather on Missouri’s KQTV this past week. There was a 60 percent chance of violence with a 90 percent chance of blood.
- Plenty of good seats are still available for TNA’s Slammiversary in Detroit, Michigan. TNA has decided that for every lower level ticket bought, fans would get a pair of punching bags (one with the face of Ron Artest, the other of Matt Millen).
- Angelina Love updated her Twitter account a few hours ago stating, “the next time she receives nude pictures from a D. Stokes she is calling the cops.”
- There is a warrant out for the arrest of Samoa Joe and his Nation of Violence.
ROH
- Austin Aries captured the ROH title from the 46-year-old Jerry Lynn. Many casual fans heard Lynn’s age and wondered why he wasn’t a part of the Main Event Mafia.
