This should be obvious, and I was going to let it go when Tommy Dreamer did it on ReACTION the other month,* but it came up again** so I'm going to let 'em have it.
If someone says, "This isn't just a wrestling angle," during a promo for a wrestling angle, you might as well have all other promos begin with, "This IS just a wrestling angle! I'm acting and everything I'm going to say is FAKE!"
Similarly, if someone says, "That wasn't a 'protected' spot" as part of a "worked shoot," you might as well have every other wrestler say, "I'm going to viciously defeat my opponent...by planning and timing all our moves carefully, so as not to injure each ...
