On Sunday night, May 4, WWE presented its sixth annual Extreme Rules pay-per-view live from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. As with every installment of the event that came before it, the show was well received by fans and exceeded expectations in being highly entertaining.
The Shield went to war with Evolution in an effort to prove themselves as the most dominant faction in WWE history. The trio solidified their superiority over Evolution after Roman Reigns cleanly pinned Batista to end one of the best matches of 2014 thus far.
