Freshness was the theme of the June 26 episode of NXT, as new faces and stories dominated the undercard while one of the most decorated stars of the last 20 years put over the brand's top star in a highly competitive main event.
Rob Van Dam, one of the most exciting and breathtaking stars of the 2000s, took on this generation's answer to Mr. PPV when he met NXT champion Adrian Neville in the night's marquee match. As he has done with several young stars on the main roster, Van Dam put Neville over clean.
