WWE Pay-Per View: Has Quality Been Sacrificed for Quantity?

Greetings and salutations, my fellow wrestling fans. After watching the Fatal 4-Way PPV last Sunday, I felt like WWE bent me over and yelled "BOHICA!", short for "Bend Over, Here It Comes Again!" Not only did the event last just 2-1/2 hours, it was basically a snoozefest.

Afterwards, several of my friends and I were asking each other, "What in the blue hell was that?" I couldn't even run up a tab at my local watering hole, an oddity for me.

Let's not kid ourselves, pay-per-view is the straw that stirs the WWE's drink, accounting for approximately 18 percent of their annual revenue stream.
