It shouldn't be too much of a surprise that the best matches this week came at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. In recent years, the event has established itself as a consistently excellent show, and this year proved to be no exception.
What's particularly encouraging about how good the show was is that it was talent just on the verge of greatness that made it so. Doom and gloom about the lack of depth in the WWE roster seems inescapable at times, but based on some of the performances we saw at Money in the Bank, I'd say that the future is rather bright.
