As Raw kicked off the draft Monday night, the WWE universe was abuzz with hope and expectation.
The main assumptions had to do with who was going to switch brands to create fresh feuds and rejuvenate both shows. I can bet most of the WWE universe did not expect the changes that occurred Monday night.
I personally am an Ortonite, and was expecting a switch to Smackdown to battle Swagger, CM Punk, and others in what still would have been a good move to help Smackdown.
Instead, we saw Vince McMahon and the WWE ante-up Raw and stack it with what now looks to be a huge roster.
That leaves Smackdown more open for younger talent like Rhodes, Kingston, and Swagger to test their main-event status.
