Since making his return from an ankle injury at Over The Limit and winning the Intercontinental Championship from Cody Rhodes, Christian has been working as a midcard face. In order to avoid losing him in the shuffle, however, a reversion to heel status should be on the horizon.
One of the great things about Christian is that he is equally capable of being a face or heel, so he is a Swiss army knife of sorts for the WWE who can be put in any situation. Looking back at his face turn, though, it was done in a strange way and it hasn't really benefited Christian at all.
