The Survivor Series has long been one of the most spectacular pay-per-view events on the WWE calendar.
The first Survivor Series took place in November of 1987 in Richfield, Ohio, and it has been the scene of plenty of WWE history.
Though the event has seen classic matches such as Hulk Hogan vs. The Undertaker in 1991 and Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels in 1997, the event was built around teams battling in elimination matches.
The elimination matches have been made up of four- and five-man teams with the object being to survive elimination.
