WWE the Bash 2009 Prediction Competition

Posted by Jev Thorpe On June - 25 - 2009

It’s that time again for another prediction competition, as the rebranded “The Bash” gears up for this Sunday.

For those of you who don’t know how this works it’s simple; make your picks for all the matches this Sunday at The Bash, as given below, and leave your predictions as a stand-alone comment in the comments section of this article.

The numbers in bold represent the weightings of each match, hence their importance to your overall score in the competition.

There is no prize for winning, merely the satisfaction of knowing you are the most accurate soothsayer in all of B/R.

Several of the matches for Sunday promise to be exhilarating, with the outcomes seemingly more predictable for some than others. But will you get them right?

**Tiny spoiler alert** The last match on card will be announced during SmackDown. It’s not particularly important though, so don’t worry

Onto the matches:

World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Jeff Hardy – (3)

WWE Championship (Three Stages of Hell Match): Randy Orton (c) vs. Triple H – (3)

ECW Championship Scramble: Tommy Dreamer (c) vs. Christian vs. Jack Swagger vs. Finlay vs. Mark Henry – (3)

Women’s Championship: Melina (c) vs. Michelle McCool – (2)

Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Rey Mysterio – (2)

John Cena vs. The Miz – (2)

Unified Tag Team Championship: Carlito & Primo (c) vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase – (2)

The Great Khali vs. Dolph Ziggler – (1)

If you are in disagreement as to the weightings of some of the matches then please say. I base the weightings on importance, unpredictability, and number of competitors involved, but ultimately they are my opinion. If enough people feel a change is necessary, then I will make one.

Nobody has managed a perfect score yet. This time there are 18 points up for grabs, will you be able to get them all?

Don’t hesitate to have a go, as my policy is the more the merrier. There is no punishment for doing badly, so it can’t hurt to make a guess.

Good luck!
