Stunning news occurred on Raw last night, as Edge announced his retirement from WWE due to complications from a broken neck.
There had been some speculation that Edge would retire within the next year, but I don't think any of us saw this coming, especially after it was announced that he would face Alberto Del Rio in a ladder match at Extreme Rules.
