The feud between Matt Hardy and Drew Mcintyre has really begun to gain some steam this past week. On last week's Smackdown, Drew Mcintyre delivered a nasty stomp to Matt Hardy's head while he was prone on the ring steps.
Drew helped push his heel character with this move, while it helped Matt Hardy's never say die attitude show forth.
Matt has been in a bit of a slump for a few months now, but it appears this new feud with Drew Mcintyre may bring him back into the title hunt for Drew's IC title.
The IC title is one of the few titles Matt Hardy has yet to hold in the WWE, and adding that notch to his belt would be great for Hardy.
